  • memory map and sharing of lanes

just a quick one chaps how do you want to share memory map and location of lanes on here or are we keeping this information secret?

i have a toughbook CF18 with GPS and the whole of explorer on MM dont mind sharing information and location of lanes but dont want to post all of it. have some GPX also.

gone of the days of paper maps ha but i do have a colour A0 colour scanner at work so i can scan maps too!

yeah got the idea can post lanes and stuff using the net here are my routes i have GPSed in the past

if you buy a i-gotu GPS tracker then you can set up a web page and upload your tracks walks etc

in google maps or you can sign up to google maps and plot your own track without having to go to the place like i have done for morocco

    http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...f14463f6d3f74f

we could set up a library of tracks on here its how we keep them secret or give access to people that want them??

As far as i am aware sharing the routes is not a issue , but any form of software that is copywrited maybe. Allowing that the routes could be stored i would only make it available to members. This is a question that the forum gods will need to answer

A nice basic route around the ranges but needs both Bulford and Larkhill/Lavington ranges to be open .....

Some of the ones i run are up to up to 80 miles and you will be lucky to see 15 miles of tarmac sometimes less.

Btw that is a Stonehenge to Countess services route but Tony prefers to start at countess as there is a little chef for breakfast
