Just ttok the Battery out to make the hole in the wing for a snorkle . Whilst i was waiting for the pipes to turn up froma mate , i decided to flush the water system , water went almost everywhere , anyway , put it all back , thn it wouldnt start.

Im guessing its just shorting somewhere , as when you try to start it . it just clicks then the battery lights go out , and wont trn on again until you disconnect the battery - left it drying in the carport . is that all it needs ?

High resistance / poor conection somewhere . Check all cables from battery to starter and chassis .

        Thanks Guys.

Battery was right way round . Terminal Clamps were in a right state and the earth wire was about the size of fuse wire !

£6 later I have 2 new connectors and a new earth wire from Halfrauds. And its starts fine.

Sucking loads of air in from the new Snorkle.
