The Smurk nears completion

For those that don't know, the smurk is a hybrid surf and pickup powered by the lexus v8. It belongs to Ryan aka leadfoot. It has been a few years in creating but now its nearing the stages of completion.
The Smurk started out life as a burgundidy 1kzte powered gen 2 auto surf. The rear half was cut off and a pickup cab rear end stitched back on, the chassis was shortened and an exo cage built.This incorporated an up and over spare wheel carrier and the design is so that the rear buck from the pickup can be clipped back on over and around the cage. It went in the spray shop a few weeks ago and has emerge in a fantastic burnt orange original toyota color.

Toyota call it 4r8 but everyone else calls it h8r.
