  • Body Lift Kit

Is there any preference to any make or type of 2" body lift kit? Is metal preferred or the urethane type ones just as good and any particular supplier that is recommended?

    TIA, Nick

      its all down to choice,really.
the most important thing is the correct grade bolts, unless they are zinc plated and 8.8 shear test or higher, preferably .
i have Ali on my truck, just because i was running a job at the time that i could use the material for,Delrin (polyacetal) would be my go to material normally.
i know people have Nylon kits, but it is not a structural plastic,so dont be tempted by the cheap kits. i would also avoid the kits that are 50mm in diameter, they are known (from what i've heard) to punch through the rubbers. go for 60mm ,a much better bet, more contact for a start.
but the bolts are the thing that does the work,so thats the weak link if any.

nylocs and stainless steel washers a safe bet too.

I've heard good things about the lift kits from here:
