Recently bought my Surf and the spotlight bar was looking a little shabby, the plastic was bent out of shape, it was missing the chrome inserts and some of the lettering had come off.
I decided to remove it and replace it with some aluminium box tube I had laying around the shed.
I like the cleaner look its given the front of the truck, I'm not sure if I'm going to fit the old spot lights, or some new ones, or leave them off completely, what do you reckon?
I haven't wrote a how to, as its pretty obvious, but had to grind down the brackets to make them fit inside the tube, drill it and bolt it on. I do plan to polish the aluminium up a bit at some point.
eagle eyes readers will notice I painted the mini mirror on the bonnet, didn't have any red, so found some grey instead!
