Electric winches help

Hi folks im looking at getting an electric winch for my gen 3 surf. Who has done this before, what winch have you used and where/how have you mounted it.

I was thinking of mounting on the front somewhere as it would be quite easy to run to the battery from there or mount on the rear and run the battery cables underneath maybe?

A minefield mate, I'm in a 2nd gen but doubt it'll make any difference. It all depends on what the winch will be expected to do, if you're going for a Rain Forest Challenge then get a Warne or Superwinch, if its just for occasional greenlaning then there are many options, I've put a Wnchmax 13000 on mine, some like em & some dont but I have no issues with it.

The bumper is also up to you as there are many types and designs, tubular, ARB, homemade, someone else will be along shortly no doubt.
