  • Lexurf V is changing

Finally had some spare time to spend on my new toy today and have started getting ready for the new bits and bobs to put my name on it

As it was in the beginning, but minus the steps (sold them already)

Bit of a clean and polish, plus nick name added

Rear lights replaced, bumper quarters removed

    Subtle hint addded

Wind deflectors removed and ready for next phase

Hopefully if I can scare up a little muscle tomorrow, I will get the front end swapped out and the Winch bumper fitted

Then it is rock sliders to get welded on and a tubular rear bumper made up. I also have a rear spoiler to add on at some stage. Once these are done I can get started on the insides and sort a few niggly gremlins out

          OOO Shiny
Very nice mate. Run your winch rope off the top of the drum as that fair lead opening is high and switch the wires to keep the in and out working as indicated.

Andy, I don't remember if Gary did, but you could slacken off the T/bars a little now you have a much lighter engine under the lid.
Maybe it's the angle of the photos but the rear looks lower than the front.

p.s. Nice piece of asphalt you're parked on there, it's crying out for someone to do a burnout on it!

p.p.s. Bumper looks fantastic by the way.

That bumper is nice, good profile. Can you stick a tape measure on the top part of it, looks slimmer than some TJM and other bumpers I've seen.

                Is the bumper polished Alu?

Cheers Brian, not sure if a winch is going to in yet but like the idea. Thinking of opening it up a put oil coolers in there for protection off road.

I think your right Vince as front does sit a tad higher than I'd expect. I'm going to be dropping in some BJ spacers shortly so will ballance it out then, will also be putting a diff drop in at same time.

Polished specially for you. You told me off the last time when it was mucky

I see what you ment now when you said in the other thread, this was
                      "a future project".
You've certainly managed to put your mark on it.

                      Still on a mission.
