Gentle off roading

I have a 3rd Gen standard spec. Looking to do some first time off roading soon, not sure exactly where but I will confirm once I know. But apparently it's a straightforward route... haha!

I'm going along with a full mountain rescue kitted LR and a 1st gen Disco. Hmm interesting mix.... note to self... take camera...

So, not having a set of wheels to swap I am on my standard road tyres. Apart from that I'll whip off the sliders and disconnect the arb links. Anything else I need to look out for?

Now that's a great idea and a generous offer Vince! Not sure when the jolly jaunt is but I can let you know in advance and pop up if you don't mind? No lift on mine and I think those are a smidge bigger than my 265 70 16s but your's is not lifted either is it?

Standard height. 285/75/16 tyres, 8" wide wheels.
