The wheel not the unfinished paintwork.
Needs a lot more polishing to get rid of all the pitting and I won't have time to do it all until at least Xmas time, but this is the look I'm going for.

Very nice, very shiny, very bling. Have you considered nice chrome centre caps, the ones that fit in from behind the wheel ?

I'm on the look-out for a pair. There'll be manual hubs on the front.

I got a set of 4 from him after I fitted some mitsi L200 wheels to my Surf but havent had them long enough to get any idea how long they will behave before corroding. A good slather of polish ( which I understand you are good at ) will hopefully protect them a bit

the wheels are spot on vince - the centres suit the new colour.

ps - by the time you've polished all of them jo wont let you in until you've been steam cleaned

See you finally got round to spraying the truck yellow! You going to put some pics up when done?

Wheels are cool too! Too shiny for me though haha! Need mud on them

I've only painted that wing, haven't got time to work on my own truck!

Jez! Is that the same ones I seen in your garage? That's some transformation. The centres look anodised too.

                              Yup, same wheels.
I've only done one of the five though. I discovered that old battery acid is great at cleaning the back of the wheel to get rid of years of brake dust and road tar, just need to rub away the pitting with wet-or-dry paper before polishing.
The anodized centre section was done the same way I did your V8's valve covers, polish to mirror finish and spray with translucent yellow glass paint.

                              They looked like this originally....

Centres removed and flipped over for the deep dish look a la Popeye.
