    Can't wait too see the finished product! Gonna look deadly! Just waiting to fit some 33in and a 4in lift to my own 95 surf. No where as good as yours but it'll do me. Keep up the good work!! Keep on keeping on

            stpiped and primed again but now painted(black )!!!

            tyres here and now rims 14j



            betweem chassies its 10" then the chassie is roughly 4" thick so total from body contact point to contact point 14" then a 3"body lift and 5"on new tyres

            building is easy makeing look pretty and road worthy is the hard bit

            (he borrowed my tyres for this photo of my pajero)

                    • Update back on it wheel all painted every bit 3 coats primer 3 top coats all new bits!!( but now covered in dust)

                      Even box got painted

                            Can you describe the process used to prepare the chassis, the paint looks really good on it, great finish.
                            What tools, materials did you use to do the prep work?

                            Bit boring to some I suppose but I like to gather knowledge.


                            Just a wee thought on the look of the truck, and it's only my opinion so please ignore but I think it would look more balanced with a tray back style chop to the rear of the body, shortened truck bed style, perhaps someone can photoshop it to show what I mean (Yoshie! get working yer magic)

                            • ok ill try chassie was hit with wire bursh on grinder till shiney no paint left at all then degreased
                              sprayed with primer 3 coats light sand tacked off then top coat 3 coats
                              and the same with every bit all taken apart front suspention back axel
                              sprayed different colurs to prove we did not just one colour like most people
                              budget!!!!
                              well so far 44"tyres second hand £330
                              14j rims second hand £150
                              paint/thinners £100
                              grinding disks/welding wire £80
                              metal for chassies£90
                              engine rebuild pistons,shell.gasket set.head bolts exhaust all oils £450
                              this is just a rough cost as allways buying some thing

                              he likes the shape had truck for 7 years
                              and you can put a big sticker kit on the side

                              got to finnish it as we got an bighorn to start next!!!!!!
