my mate david wanted to borrow my 44" to see what they look like
      gotta say its HUGE

gonna fit lorry wheels to his super singles with addapter plates like they do in america

the wheels work out 46" high and 18" wide and cant get farm trailor tyers and wheels rated to 80mph for £200 each(retreads)
      hard wearing should last ages
just got to get addapters made now
and made new brackets for bumper and nudge bar
it allways the little things that take the time

That red car behind looks awfully tall! Is it on a trailer or are you putting the body on a 4x4 chassis?

I've seen a few of those, the best around my way was an Escort XR3i body on a 4x4 chassis! That looked funny as hell!

I've been following this thread and what you are doing is something I've always wanted to do, the full strip down and rebuild of a 4x4. I have a DVD called 'A 4x4 is born' where the presenter and car enthusiast (I forget his name) starts from scratch with various Landrover and Rangerover parts and builds an off road vehicle. It's definitely worth a watch if you can find it.

            Thanks,

            Ray.
I've got a plan and it's as hot as my pants!

Cutting metal with sparks everywhere, right next to a gas cylinder.

What's the theme overall going to be?
Another Dukes of Hazzard or all original but bigger or something else?

What colours are you going to spray the chassis and body?

                              Thanks,

                              Ray.
