Im useing one of those on the front at the minute, suppose it would work though, only thing is he's quite big & would probably knock it flyiny every time he jumped in & out.Originally posted by nero279 View Postused to use a universal dog guard similar to the type you see in argos etc. just fitted at the back of the boot rather than the front
If its not broke don't fix it.

Thats a cheap option, Andy, but a bit of a false economy when your dogs develop a taste for seat belt (Thanks for the replacement, Richard.) Just 5 days before MOT due! Nightmare!......Have you considered this alternative, Si?...The cage is fully removable, and stores flat. Mines not the perfect size, but it was a freebie.....Saunders dog guards have plenty sizes....Some pics...Cheers....Mick.Originally posted by Albannach View PostA short(ish) bit of rope, tied one end to a rear seat belt and the other end around the mutt's neck, will suffice?Last edited by MWS; 9 June 2010, 00:00." I had one but it was too small for the dog & i bought the biggest one that i could fit.Originally posted by MWS View PostThats a cheap option, Andy, but a bit of a false economy when your dogs develop a taste for seat belt (Thanks for the replacement,Richard.) He does'nt chew things, he just tends to jump around the truck alot.
Ive got one of the normal guards up behind the seats which is fine, its just something for the back window so when im stuck in traffic or nipping to the shop he can have a bit of fresh air & theiving scrotes know to keep away cos you can't see in the back of the truck due to the windows being blacked out from the rear passenger windows back.If its not broke don't fix it.
