3" body lift what inolved?

3" body lift?? - whats involved advice

Apart from the lift kit, you'll need;

Longer flexy brake lines.
Longer fuel filler hose.
Extensions to the gear levers.
Air sickness pills.
Brackets for the front bumper to raise it.
A step ladder.
Extend (or you may be lucky and have enough shaft to adjust) the steering column shaft.

cool, well just ordered some 50mm x 1000mm nylon rod
going to get some ht threaded rod, washers and bolts
cut the threaded rod to size weld bolt one side tighten up other.

debating wether to do a 3" or 4" body lift.

but want to get this puppy as high as i can.

so all the advice i can get dont want the truck off the road more then a day

1, Brake lines extend 4"
2, Radiator brakets
3, bumper brakets
4, steering extention


anything else to add to this list, dont want to get stuck withought the parts i need thanks

You can fit 2.5" spacers in some of the mounts which will be stronger, esp. on a big lift. Also need thicker bolts for strength.
