I really like the look of the bikini top but think it would look even better with a trayback and the silver trim sprayed black to match the bumpers

When I say tray back I mean more like a pickup rear with the roll cage following the lines of the bikini back..... Forgive my crap photoshop skills

Not as offroad friendly though, the bikini gives loads of space to keep things dry and out of the way/

You're 40 now; skulls, like cheap watches, are a no-no...

Can I ask roughly what it's cost you so far?

I have sold bumpers, side steps, grille and tyres perviously so that has kept price down to 2200 at this stage mate

Yellow Vince? hmm we will see

Bought the SuperPro castor correction poly bushes.

Headed over to Georges today for a coffee or two {thanks Sandra} and a helping hand from the big fella.

Well we needed to be safe we didn't want the springs shooting oot

Old bushes are a pig to take out. Drilled all the way round then cut and burnt the centre sleeve out.
Then took a hacksaw and cut through the outter metal sleeve of the bush. This let it be tapped out with a cold chisel.

With no press we had a go with a couple of large washers and some threaded bar.
                            Worked a treat

                            Tadaaa

Brake Lights moved into upper cluster where fog light and blank had been. Indicators moved up into the reverse lights {orange bulbs} Reverse light and Fog light mounted onto back door and a couple of white downward facing LED number plate lights which double as mounting bolts.

Leaves a plain rear bumper which was the look I was after.

very good, like the very short overhang on front and rear , those jimnys are very underated, good folow up from the sj, the only thing i would worry about is getting the ecu or elecs wet?
