If you want to do a gen 3 then you can get an LC Colorado kit (I believe it is the same chassis) but dont go over 2" on the suspension or you will knacker your CV joints. Trust me I tried with my Colorado and new CVs cost a kings ransom and I did four in before I learnt my lesson! Try West Coast 4x4 at Southport good blokes and loads of advice.
Old enough to know better but then again.....

Free wheeling hubs negates the cv joint issue?

Cheers, Mate much appreciated. Quite a few on here reckon if I fit Manual Free wheeling hubs it will help. I will talk to those guys though and to Mark and Neil again. Otherwise I will have to go 2" Sus and 2" Body rather than 2" sus and 2"sus spacer.
        Cheers

I read, on one of the American LC forums, that LC80 front springs can be used to lift a turd gen. Not sure if it's been mooted here before, I can't find the search button to check...

Mmmm, it would be better I think to lift the suspension 4" rather than 2" sus and 2" body if I can. Would be happy to fit manual FWHs. It'll make R lass feel like she's contributing

(Only one to go for the tonne!)
            Cheers

My lift on my 3rd gen if fantastic better both on and off road and a much better ride.
              Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)

Good to hear Smego. Can you tell me the type and height of kit you have and where you got it please?
                Cheers
