    True. There's nothing bad about experimenting though. It just happened to be an ill-thought attempt on this occasion. People can't learn if they don't make mistakes too, however.

            If you're on a tight budget, have a rummage through a motor factors box of hoses. There will be some that are close enough. One of the ones from the original L200 fit is ideal for the 3.0.

                He's got a 2.4. Scrappers may also be worth a shot. I've seen the odd intercooler and hosing knocking about during my delving sessions.

                      if its 50mm find pipework off a 200sx s13 they have lots of 90 degree angles and metal straight joiners.
