Reversing lights help

Does the tail gate from a 4runner fit the surf? or,are the components,number plate lights etc interchangable? I do like the look of the 4runner tail gate.

The tailgates are the same fixings and the same as the surf with the underslung spare

Thanks for the reply, so does that mean the number plate lights and fittings will swop to the surf tailgate without having to change the whole tail gate?

I should think so.If you can give me a couple of days then i will take a closer look at the 4runner breaker and the surf breaker and let you for sure

Had the day off so changed the look of the rear end. I just used some lens tint spray,also sprayed the plate behind the number plate black.I masked off the reflectors,you can see them in the flash,sprayed the back light clusters and put in orange indicator bulbs. Im quite happy with the look. Any comments?
