Hi all hope you all recovered from new years eve?
iam starting to make a list of bits for me 3gen 3ltr diesel surf.hopefuly gona be getting it very mudy i wana start with suspension lift and some tyres http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=180&vid=936

iam i gona run into probs with the suspension lift i know its only 2inch but the c.v joints gona be running at more of an angle? dont want to go to mad as its my every day car but dont want to get stuck as much either
and yes i used the search button but no sign of broken c.v joints?

You shouldn't have any probs with a 2" suspension lift, mine was 3" and still no probs. Make sure you have a decent set of spring compressors or even 2 sets.
Get a 2" body lift too and stick some 33s on it.

To be honest... i'd get bigger tyres then that. They will fit on a stock truck no problems.

with a 2" suspension lift you should be able to get bigger under there. Or get a body lift on top aswell an get some proper chunky tyres!

to be honest only looked for same size as i already got? whats biggest size i can go with just suspension mods got 16inch rims any recomended tyres with out giving me misses something else to moan at had a look at some of the pics and i do like the chunky look
full of questions today,how many still run with side steps still fitted,i know iam still on standard height maybe bit lower due to worn springs but ive had no clearance issues yet,only ask cause my mate in his disco keeps ripping his off? either toyotas are built like tanks and take it with out falling apart or his driving like a cock?
