  • articulation problem

on the back i have got landcruiser springs and +3" shocks and when i get articulation the wheel goes up into the arch and knocks my arch off and the wheel digs into the wing and takes chunks out of the tyre (33's) is the only way to solve this to lift it a little more? like a 2" body lift?

also the landcruiser springs seem abit to big and dont fit in the cup properly is this normal? and is there anything i can do about it?

    cheers Jack

2" body lift will help .........you got the shocks ok then .
as for the springs , surfenstein has some locators for them available

apache or gwh will be better to help you as they have this style of lift

You can drop your bump stops down to limit up flex. This way you don't have to put anymore lift on.

The LandCruiser springs don't fit propely, thats because they are for a LandCruiser!!

Ideally you want to make some short 'coil spacer' type seats that are LC sized on the bottom to locate the spring, and Surf shaped the other end to fit over the cone on the chassis.

I have the LC's and if they are rotated so the spring end at top sits against the chassis they are fine.
