New exhaust!

Had a delivery today from Jetex......New 2.5" into a 3" straight through muffler with a 3"out tailpipe.


Comparison to whats on the truck at the moment.......



Tailpipe size.....


The exhuast fitted at the moment is only 2" diameter (fabbed up just to get through the MOT) and the V8 can't 'exhale' properly, it's a bit like trying to breathe in through your mouth and out through your nose when running in a marathon.

Should sound pretty awesome and produce a bit more power too........................... ........ which is nice.

Shouldn't be too loud for normal cruising, but it will be like Thor gargling nails at W.O.T.
The silencers are only £50 each, and I've got 3" clamps so if I need another one it's a simple job to swap parts around.

Looks good Vince, how much if you dont mind me asking? just got my 3" s/s pipe and bends from "Webbo", excellent finish, and very reasonable pricewise,
and the flanges he had made are awesome, just hope my welding does em justice

Thats not a bad price mate, beats shelling out several hundred for em to fit one for you,
Webbo's really done me proud with all he's done, he drew up the flange diamentions and then had em laser cut, should be with me monday, looks a excellent job they did, the tube is high grade (316 is it?) and 2.5 wall thickness, will last a lifetime, longer than me anyway just hope i do it justice with my welding skill's (or lack of)

Yeah, I think yours is Dairy grade stainless if I remember, the good clean stuff. 2.5mm wall thickness? thats gonna be heavy!
