        reduces vibrations through the steering wheel... handy if you have large tires that are out of balance... there are also RTC (Return to centre) versions as well..

          Not so much vibrations, more the effect of the larger tires being dragged around by ruts and potholes, stops the truck tracking around on taramac and offroad.

            These ones aren't RTC though.

            How the hell did you get your new bolts through? Mine wouldn't fit! Ended up having to reuse the old ones which are just about long enough.

            Another example of 'no two surfs the same'?

              The new bolts were the same diameter as old ones, just longer.
              Had to get yoshie to hold down the crossmember with a bar to get them located though, I could only see half a hole otherwise.

                I did mine on my own. Might be why!

                I'll enlist the help of 'spanner' next time I'm at his and see if I can get the longer bolts through, though the originals seem to be doing the job ok.
