  • It begins!

I've now got LC springs fitted, +2 ES9000's front and rear, looking the part already.

A 2" bodylift on it's way from tonyN, a pair of Warn manual hubs from Richard, some 15x10 black modulars and some Marshall 33.13.5.15 MT's.

I'm waiting on Mad Mac sorting out my balljoint spacers, sliders and custom bashplate which will hopefully all be fabricated by the end of the month.

jeez, i might even give her a wash before the next Clog trip.

nice one Alan.Just one thing tho are the +2's on the rear going to be ok as you've got a 3" lift with the lc springs and you may find they top out.I got +2's on the front of mine and wish i had +3's or +4's all round

+2's will be OK. You run out of articulation at the front for reasons other than shock length LONG before you do at the rear.

I thought that, the IFS has limited capabilities.
I wanted +3 on all round but after seeing yoshies truck in action it seems as though +2's will be more than adequate.
        The +3's were a 3 week wait.

        I want 33's now!

Richard is talking about the rears topping out, not the front.
You wont know for sure until you have one up inside the arch and we see how far the other side extends. What they wont do I hope, is top out over the bumps. I think they will have plenty extension for LC springs under that circumstance.

This is mine with plus 3's on the rear.I got no bump stops at all either on the rear.I do get the 33's on the 15x10 wheels tuck righ up in the arches aswell till you hear them rubbing on the arches front and rear

Before and after pic of suspension work.

I think I need to give the torsion bars another few turns.
Feels good on the road at the moment.

a Big one! Mine is a 5" front lift an a 5.5" rear lift with hammer mods! An on the road they are absolutly fine, In extreme circumstances its just going to break everything! Options are...

                          1) keep a lower lift an limit the flex of the suspension an fit a difflock or weld the front diff with free wheeling hubs to combat the lack of flex
                          2) struggle and break everything
                          3)put 33's on!!

If i was going to be getting my truck into some serious shiz i would consider going for a 3" body lift rather then the 1.5" lift i went for!

Its possible never say never an all that!

how mental does it get at the mighty Clog?

How much did the wheels and tyres cost you in the end Alan?

I just had a reasonable quote for 5 33" ATs on 15x10s from that bloke on eBay. I reckon its Silverline actually. All the same brands / wheels etc, and similar prices.
