personal pref but I think the originals look better for show - would be cool if you could jack them though.

you mean that you have mounted the sliders on to the body if so i do not think that is the way that i will be doing it the way that i want to do it is to weld the support brackets to some 150mm 6mm thick plate steel and sheave two bolts
throw some thick wall steel tube of say 6mm side wall and weld this to the 150mm wide 6mm thick and bolt this to chaise so that the i have a bolt on top & one under the chaise if i am right with the way that you have did it and put the sliders on to the under body the first tine you knead to slide alone a large rock or tree you could do some real damage to the under body of your surf and if some one T bones YOU THAT WILL BE A RIGHT OFF but if you don't do some hard core off roading and its just for looks well it looks cool they may hold the 2 or 3 people bouncing up&down on them but you come down a muddy track at say 10 or 15 mph and slide a 2 ton surf of a tree and your surf will come off the worse and look at the time and cash that you have put in to your pride and joy do you want to do it some kind of damage that will make it fit for the scrap yard its your surf but you have made a very good job of the sliders so with a wee bit more steel and work you will have a surf that will stop the kind of damage that a good hard nock with a tree or a high rock will do its your surf and a good looking one at that so i am not typing this to have a go at you but to see some one that has a liking for the same kind of 4x4 as me keep it that way good luck
