Can I Fit One Of These

Hi all.
Does anybody know if you can modify and fit a land rover tubular winch bumper to surf? I think they look so much nicer than the ARB bulky looking things and they are only£250-£300

I'm sure it's possible, but the mountings for a landrover are quite different to a surf, it could basically need the old mounts grinding right off and new ones added, by the time you've done that you could almost have built from scratch and saved most of that £300.

If you're spending £300 anyway have you looked at importing one from the states?

Nero pretty much said everything - Anything can be made to fit.

They do look schite on a surf though (my opinion of course) they dont work with the body shape of the truck.

You can get the TJM T13 bumper i think which is like mine with no bars on it. Look plain but waaaay better then the landy ones. IMHO

So might be something to consider.

yep it was and it looked good.just cut off the mounting points from your bumper and cut off the mounting points from the l*** r****. bumper and fit up and weld together.easy .
