    can a surf be given a sus. lift without the suspension being hardened ie like a disco-all sloppy
    Surf.gone but not forgottendisco now gone aswell

      as std its as stiff as a board so spacers wont help

        take the arbs off and that will allow a bit softer ride i think

          i was thinking longer but softer spring if thats poss, maybe progressive rate springs

          after following that RR today it swallows the trail with ease where i was banging about like i had no sus.
          Surf.gone but not forgottendisco now gone aswell

              What shocks have you got fitted?

              They might make it a harsh ride, mine do (ES9000)

              Tyre pressure will also make a big difference off road, I was bouncing all over the place on the Strata Florida, until I dropped the tyre pressure to 20psi.

              Also bear in mind that the RR is much heavier than the surf, and is designed to give a softer ride for the green welly brigade.

                standard shocks, havent even got a hard/soft setting, there like my old 2 gen on hard, tyres are at 2 bar 30 psi
