Bobtailing a Surf

Has anyone ever seen or got a picture of a Surf that has been bobtailed?? Think it would be worth doing for offroading or swap and buy a LR 90?

I am wanting to build a good offroader, i like the Surfs but overhang and lack of articultion lets them down

Here's a photoshop I did of our old truck, bobbed pickup'ed and on 35's before I changed the body to a 2 door and didn't do it. There are bundles of pics on US websites, have a surf around on google.





If you can do the work to bob the Surf, fitting a solid front axle won't be out of your reach
