Running larger tyres??

I installed one on my truck a couple of months ago - it works brilliantly. Because it's got a wide range of adjustment you can check the speed against a gps and dial in the yellow box so the speedo is spot on. The only problem is I have to remember I'm not in the works Hilux whos speedo reads 10% fast (as standard)

May I ask where you located this? In the engine bay or under the dash?

My speedo runs 6 mph slow so it might be worth getting on of these.

Joined the wires to the instrument panel connector (there's only 3 wires) and just dropped the box in behind the lower dash.

I was on the lookout for just such an item at a realistic price for ages, I reckon $100 is just too much.
I had figured it would be a good idea since I had changed to 33" tyres, but having recently had a chance to check my speedo against a GPS unit I was pleasently surprised. At 40, 60 & 80kph its dead on, at an indicated 100kph its really about 101 and at 120kph its about 123, close enough for me
