  • Front ball joint spacers

    Hello,

Just went to fit my front ball joint spacers and have a question.

The four small studs that hold the joint to the upper A arm are a very tight fit in the ball joint (its all come apart OK)

Are the studs rusted into the ball joint or are they a press fit?

Either way, do I have to remove the whole ball joint to get the studs out or is there a way to get them out on the car.

    regards

just thought, I could put it back together, and whack each one out in turn

Oh, well. Looks like I'll have to put the ball joint into a vice and squeeze them out.

I don't want to damage the joint (as per the guy in the write up)

          Thanks guys
