Tap in intercoolers on ebay, usually loads of em, or demon tweeks and some of the boy racer shops
Too young to die and too old to give a toss

New ones are silicon hose (expensive) its the stuff the boys racers use, your local motor factors should be able to get it

      or look on ebay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/ZENARacing

there's loads of it available - lots of ebay shops and elsewhere on internet

Or go down the breakers and use old turbo hose, do not use radiator hose! Don't recommend this route as you have no idea if its gonna fail early.

Seen one of these in south wales today.

As an ex 2.4 owner, what think you of the bigger, intercooled engine? And did you go normal 3.0l first as a comparison

You know what they say about great minds Andrew,
Marky! all very nice but dont you miss the sence of achievement you get when you do it your self, (meaning i cant afford a 3rd gen intercooler)

I'd had my 2.4 for nearly 4 Years & the opportunity arose so i just went for it.
Its amazing very quick & Lots of oomph. Better fuel economy as well.

I only got one due to Circumstance. I would get another 2nd gen to play in if Tracy would let me. I prefer my old SURF for offroading & writing other cars off as they are SOLID

Yeah i know what you mean, the more you pay for a car the less your willing to mistreat it, I certainly would think twice before cutting holes or drilling on a 3rd gen, not quite so nerve racking on a 2nd
