These are the guys you probably need to speak to, L.A. Supertrux:

Despite the name they are based in Northants
    No longer a Surf owner.

Its not a Rancho chassis, Rancho make the springs and shocks that are fitted to it. They are a major US player in the truck lifting market.

You'll need quite a lot of custom fabrication to get any truck that big and ride semi-decently, there is no 'kit' for stuff like that.

Give me a blank cheque, a truck and a couple of months and you can have your Surf looking like that.

Honestly you won't get a lot of change out of £10K half of that will be wheels and tyres.

You could do it Hillbilly style by welding two chassis together.
          It's only a hobby!

Lots easier to do the lift on a Landcruiser due to the solid front axle. A lift like that on a Surf would probably need to start with a solid front axle conversion. IFS is not as suited to extreme lifts.

He is an example of a large lift using coilovers converted from leaf springs.

Definatly speak to Supertrux for lifting the best place in the UK and they do it correctly. Have a look at one of our members pickup's here the work was all dont at LAS.
