i forgot that from my list
memo to myself.....remove antiroll bars x2

i did the 3 bolts way right through the housing i guessed at the position of the drill holes, they looked even to me but there again i do wear glasses so they could have been all in a line.

if the fan wasnt knackered then i would go along the lines of fresh silicone oil

wot sort of overheating prob you got
Surf.gone but not forgottendisco now gone aswell

I like the idea of the silicon.
You theoretically have a greater imbalance potential with
three bolts rather than two. I'm just curious now he's put
      the sh*ts up me.

No overheating problem as such. Mainly trying to keep it that
way as well. Have noticed since the warmer weather arrived
that the electric fan is kicking in more frequently, so just trying
to preempt problems. Plus, taking the wife and kids up your way
come August, so wanting to make sure everything is tip top.

Just thinking more, is it slight right/left play you have on the shaft,
or is it completely wiggly alround play?

BTW Vince, can smell you from here. Peaches?

i am just going for the overkill with mine coz with a caravan on the back it hates the hills and as you will see in August there are lots of them up here

bonnet vents are a consideration in the future but got to be carfull not to over cool it coz with no caravan it never ever gets hot and bothered

the whole head is loose on the shaft so something internally must have fukced up

                            Over cool?????
You're thinking of coolant. The vents just let hot air escape quicker and easier.
