Ordered new rear springs today from Pro Comp. (Every time going on a trip/4x4ing I have to do something....).On a budget though and doing the mods slowly. They are 2 inch lifted leaf-springs and I got the U-bolts as I figured the 7 leaves will be thicker than the existing 4, and therefore std. u-bolts too short?? I`ll get them on and jack the front torsion bars a bit this week ready for the Lakes. Next mod will be, in no particular order- ES 3000 shocks and 40mm rear shackles and a bush kit. The standard shocks fitted look in good condition and are japanese gas shocks all in black. Anybody know if these are any good. They need to last until I can afford the Procomps.
