Well after driving around for nearly 2 months with just the radio working, I decided the origional jap set-up had to go, shame it didn't work because it must of cost thousands, there was a radio, tape , cd, cd changer , gps and tv system installed. All of which was useless.
I went to halfrauds as they had the head unit I wanted for £150 (half price) with free fitting. The fitter even had a look and said he'd do it at no extra charge even tho half the dash had to come out.
I said great when can you fit it ? 2 weeks came the answer .
So I said I'd think about it.
So I went home , and started looking on fleabay, I got the exact same head unit for £75.00 + £10 postage.
I already had the iso conectors and bought a universal blanking box for £10 from the local car audio shop .
Only took 1 hour to fit and that was with coffee and fag breaks too, all went smoothley with no major hicups. And saved myself £55 Job's a good un
Now the only thing left to do is strip out the gps antenna and tv ariels that are plasterd to the outside of the truck.
Andy.
