It will do mate. I never seems to be mentioned but the springs and front torsen bars are holding up the truck. So...when you increase lift or the strength of one end then in your example the rear springs lift up the rear as you wanted but also take some of the weight off the front which means the front lifts as well. If you look at any race car set ups in a good magazine they will talk about corner weights. This shows how the car is balanced etc. Say your truck weighs 2 tons, the standard set up is 500kg a corner and you replace the rear with heavy duty 650kg springs then the back will be holding up 1300kg in total thus taking some of the pressure off the front.....

err.... are you absolutely sure about that?
you dont think its just jacking the thing up and the springs havent settled yet?
if you put 2200kg springs on the back will the front wheels hover just off the ground?
      it's in me shed, mate.

I wouldnt go that far, but i do know that the corner weights do have an effect. Its the stiffer rear springs taking some of the load off the front suspension. In the corner weights thing if yoiu wanted more equal load on the front because more of the weight of the car sat on the back end then by changing the spring rates this would be changed.....

Or something similar, try it, if you jack up the back of the surf on the chassis you will notice a very small amount of lift on the front..........

Not sure of the science, but when I had my torsion bars adjusted to raise the front to where it should have been I was surprised to find the rear went up a bit as well.
