Can anyone advise me on the correct tyre pressures for Hankook Dynamic Radials 215/R15/100S. Are these the standard size tyres for this vehicle?
The reason I would like some info is because I have had a little rear end twitch and you know how dangerous that can be!

It depends which rear end you're talking about ! Earlier trucks were fitted with 215's as standard - it's just that as the trucks get older tyres seem to get bigger As to pressures, try something around 30 - 32 psi. The only word of caution is that if the tyres are the ones the truck came from Japan on you may never get good grip - they don't seem to travel well. Also in my experience Hankook tyres are ok until they're about half worn - I think they put the naff rubber at the bottom.

You will feel the rear end twitch on bends in the wet, Just be careful until you get used to it, 2 TONNES OF SURF is hard to control if you lose it.

Its only on the wet that I feel uncertain about control. I have had 32psi and then tried 28 as recommended in manual but that felt od at 70mph. Will try 30psi as comprimise. Tyres are original from Japan, want as much use as possible as there still seems 75%ish tread left. Would like to change to BF Goodridge All Terrain or may be a road going dedicated tyre at some point.

Hi Hankooks are the same as Marshals tyres both made by the same company the side walls are soft not as stiff as Dunlops,BFGoodridge ect this is mayby way you are feeling a twitch on the back end when going round bends but as stated before remember you are driving 2 tonne of 4x4
