how many retaining washers on rollbar/lower sus arm link?

How many retaining washers should there be on the link between lower suspension arm and anti-roll bar link?
The link is the type with a ball-joint on anti-roll bar,

one side of truck has a washer above and below the bushing above the lower sus arm, and only 1 washer below,
the other side has only 2 washers, 1 above and 1 below the lower sus arm,

I got a kit from milners - which has 4 of the bushings, and only 4 new washers,
I was expecting there to be 8 washers?

oops, just noticed you said ball joint ends, all I have of them is the rear of a 2nd gen, it may be the same idea in principle for a 3rd gen front......

Is that what it is called? I have to get me some of those! Mine appear a little worn...
Milners do them? Complete? or just the washers and bushes...?

First of all, the surf in question is a 3rd gen I think and they might not guarantee it fits the 3rd gen ('91-'96 is what it applies to I think)

Second they are out of stock of the £18 jobbies and 'there is a ship coming from Japan'

Thirdly the girl I spoke to knew of no kit for £4.50, only £11 but its good to have a part no. like Andy gives

Anyway, back to the washers. They'll be the same as Tony's first pic (ignoring the bottom bit as you have a ball joint there), ie 2 washers per side..

They must have had it sitting around awhile before registering it! should be 95! But Shelleys 4Runner as the same as a Surf, and should be the same as the top pic. So I assummed he had a 3rd Gen, but then it wouldn't be a UK car......

yes - its a 2nd Gen, UK 4runner, registered in '96.

changed those bushings this morning.
tip for anyone doing this (should have been obvious to me) - instead of removing the stabilser bar link at the ball joint. Just undo the nut holding the washers and bushings in place on BOTH sides of vehicle, then the anti-roll bar can be moved to all access to the washers/bushings on top side of lower suspension arm - instead of removing the whole link arm, as this can be fiddly with allen key and 17mm spanner with limited space to work in

hmm, that didn't occur to me when I did mine a couple of months ago, doh! Anyway, by taking mine off, I discovered that the left one was bent. No idea how that happened!
