In order to reverse a heavy trailer uphill my 3rd Gen was put in low range and the transmission clearly got a bit wound up. When selecting 2WD again all four green lights and the diff lock light continue to flash. I have changed the front diff sensor and tested the old switch which was actually working so I also replaced the sensor on the transfer box (nearest front of the car) with the old switch - testing the old switch revealed this to be faulty however I still have all the lights flashing. I have taken it off road on slippy surfaces both in 4WD, Low and 2WD and I can't stop the lights. When 4x4 is engaged they continue to flash.
When I put it into 4WD on the move (yes you can with 3rd Gens!) there is an almighty thud and the car jumps - almost as if you have run over a lump of concrete on the front end.
Any suggestions please?
