evening all , i serviced my wee beastie today and when it came to the water system i flushed it through to get rid of all the red stuff topped it up with lovely bluecol , a question though when i took the thermostat out to flush and check ( it opened at 88 C ) there was a milky pea green colour deposits on the inside of the housing and over the thermostat , so anyone got any ideas what this could be , original antifreeze was red ??????

also how much water should the cooling system hold ? its a 92 2.4td

    thanks
