  • Rear strut plates

    Hi guys & gals could anyone tell me where i can obtain the rear strut plates for a 94 3.ltr diesel. I have asked Rough trax & milners but no luck.

          If you mean the bracket that the top of shock attaches to, the part numbers are -

          51301-35020 and 51301-35030.

          Look at page two of the link top right of diagarm.

              Can anyone tell me easy repair the rubber bung that's on the chassie at the top of coil spring has snapped off esch side & sitting at the bottom of the coil spring. Would this make my ttuck fsil it's next mot ?

                  The bump stops are bolted to chassis through the centre. Maybe broken away from bolt. Look for the bolt.

                    Hi Nev thanks for that yes that's them bump stops & yes looks like they've corded away. How can i repair them can a new bolt be put through the chassie put the bump stop back on then a nut is this correct.

                      I'm pretty sure there's a captive nut welded to chassis for the bolt, so see if you can remove the bolt or whatever remains of it and see if the nut is ok. If not then maybe you can replace bolt and nut if you can acces that part of the chassis. Don't know offhand if you can, but will check mine sometime.

                          hi, i just got to see this, yes, its an easy fix, but you will need to remove the spring to do what niftynev had said, on top of the chassis there is a plastic grommet that you can remove, and you can spay some oil to the captive nut,
                          i will go out in amin and take a pic of what i mean
