  • Abs light on

Hi there I'm new to this forum and just after some advice please, I think I've posted in the right place. I've got a 96 surf ssrx 3.0l 1kzte engine.
I bought front and rear shockers, springs and steering rack bushes from toughtrax and had them fitted at my local garage. I picked up the car and the abs light is on, also the priming sort of noise that happens when ignition is turned on isn't making that noise anymore. The garage plugged surf in and diagnostic said disconnect battery for 30 seconds, they did that but then run out of time to check anything else. They also said had to drop rear axle to get the up rated springs in. They said to bring it back in but was hoping someone could give me advice on what the issues could be.
    Thank you
    Rob

me thinks that you should have found a garage
that has worked on surfs before i put them springs on
mine didnt have to drop axle just used spring compresers
and as for diags i have been told that the english cant access
the proper diag for surf the nearest to them is
the landcrusier and thats not any good
and besides you can do the diag using the over drive light
there be plenty of info on here on how and its simple
an yer abs has not been reconnected by the sound of it
    have a nice day
    the old git

Thank you for the reply, I'll look for how to do diagnostic test. I used them because the garage is on my street, prob should have known better.
Have you any idea what the priming sound is when ignition turned on with the surfs? Thank you
