Don't trust garages, my new galaxy packed up and went into People's Ford in bootle, seems the fuel tank is red rusty (car less than a year old) "odd" I said "as it's made of plastic"

You are right.
If you have legal cover with your house insurance, they'll be your friends for free. They have the ability to make the garage owner change colour!
It might also be worth checking your vehicle insurance if you have legal cover with it, as some policies cover more than just when you're involved in an accident.
