  • Grease monkey needs grease advice!

Ok after reading the sticky on servicing it says use moly grease ( cv grease ) in the ball joints, steering components and lithium NLGI no2 in the props etc.

At my work we use moly in cv's, wheel bearing grease in wheel bearings ( duh ) and NLGI no2 General Grease ( pictured below ) for everything else ( ball joints, props, steering ect ).

Am I safe using NLGI no2 General Grease in the ball joints etc or should I really get a separate gun and Moly for the ball joints.

Pretty cheap to buy a 2nd gun and a tube of moly (got mine at Earnest Doe - rembrandt moly) and use like mr toyota suggested.

Think the Double cardan joint also takes moly so might as well do the lot properly.
