replacing head on 1kze surf

Howdy, am in the process of removing the head on my 95 surf, usual problems of pressurised coolant system after an overheat and blown radiator so suspect the head will be cracked, have priced a replacement head , gaskets, head bolts, but need to know a few basic things please. What head bolt tightening sequence, torque settings, and do you need to drain the block if just replacing the head, have drained the radiator and left it in place at this stage, removed shroud and fan, timing cover, all inlet mainfold and exhaust bolts, fuel injection lines have been undone, have I missed anything? Have not set to tdc yet but intend to trawl this site a bit more for info, apologies if all info is there, am a newbie to this and have not yet found what I need but any assistance would be appreciated.
