Underslung wheel hook dimensions

Hey all,

Anyone have an underslung spare wheel, and could take some dimensions of the hook for winding it?

Mine didn't come with one and I reckon I better sort something before I am caught out someday!!! My last surf had a rear carrier... Much handier!!

Well there is a spare wheel hanging there, but I don't have the pole for raising and lowering it. So I don't really think I need the whole assembly. If the pole itself was going very cheap, I might be interested. Otherwise if you could take some pics and measurements it would be great!!! Then I could make one up

the "pole" you call it, its the bar you use for jacking up the surf, if you around i can show you

What budweiser said and the pole/winding rod should be under the back seat with the bottle jack. Yours is obviously not

Hi guys,

Not to sound like a smart arse.... But that's what I said! Mine didn't come with one! :-) ;-)

I am less concerned about the fact that I can't use the bottle jack, and more so that I can't access the spare wheel.

So back to the original question...Can anyone give photos and dimensions of the pole/rod/stick/bar that I don't have? I need to get one made. Alternatively if anyone had a spare one going cheap. Thanks!

got some one with chain, other with cable, and spare rod too, but ultimagtr21 offered first i go later to get some measurements

I've only got the winding mechanism and associated parts/linkages and bolts, but no spare winding rod I'm afraid. If I get chance tomorrow I'll take some measurements
