My 95 surf just broke the timing belt. Noone to blame but myself as I've been meaning to do it for ages.
Anyways: before I pull the head off does anyone know the kind of damage this entails?
-- eg on some old landrover engines the pushrods buckled first and the rest of the top end wass saved.
What's the likely damage here?
Next question: has any put a D4D into a surf?
If so; how hard was it..
