Hi n welcome to the Forum Mark ...
Well done on changing ya filter, (ya didn't need to crack the injectors) ya could of just primed it (while somebody turned it over) but as ya have cracked the injectors (ya should only see a fine spay) while cranking the engine, (one at a time tho) ...
Hope this helps

3.0l non starter
hi all thanks for the reply. the immobliser is all working ok, i have diesel coming out of all four injectors but it dosent even try to start when turning over, the strange thing ( i think ) is it wont even run on easy start, it does try when spraying it but not very well. ( i have use easy start on a lot of vehicles and have always managed to start the vehicles weather petrol or diesel and can run the engine as long as you keep spraying it in the mainifold , and yes i do know its not good to run an engine just on easy start ) even after the above i have checked the timing belt & the keyways. it just seems to be electrical, do they have a tdc sensor / pick up like the 2.4s ? i havent checked the small filters in the injection pump as there seems to be enough diesel getting to the injectors.
many thanks mark
