33" tires

I'm getting a set of wheels and tires for Xmas and would like some information.

They are 33x12.50x15 with a -32 offset.

I currently have a 2" suspension lift and am planning a 2" body lift next spring. The truck has no steps or mud flaps fitted. Will I be able to run these wheels and tires with just the suspension lift or will they catch the bumper and arches?

I have searched around and found a few conflicting oppinions. Some say they will fit, some say they will rub on the insides at full lock and some say they won't fit full stop.

So what's the truth? What are peoples experiences? And any general advice is most welcome.

Interesting read. It seems to say they won't fit but I have read they will. It would be interesting to see where they would rub or catch and if they would also effect suspension travel.

Has anyone got any first hand experience with this?

I have 33's on mine. It has both a 2" body lift and 2" suspension lift and it still rubs slightly on full lock. I personally wouldn't recommend them with just a suspension lift.

Where abouts do they rub exactly? Is it inside the arches with the back of the wheel?

Whats been done to the front suspension to raise it two inches?

The inside of the tyre rubs the mud flap and wheel arch. It's only a little but then I have a 4" total lift so as I said, I wouldn't recommend it if you only have a 2" lift.

its lifted with torsion bars and springs at the moment. I might hang fire on the wheels then.

Adjusting the torsion bars won't be enough to lift the front end, you need 50mm balljoint spacers together with the 2" bodylift.Even then with -32 off-set, you'll still need to trim off some of the plastic wheelarch liner near the mudflaps and remove the plastic end caps from the front bumper.

I figured as much. I may just get some 31" they should fit as it is now. What would the best size 31" that would fit any ideas?

I have 265 75 16. Bfg mt on mine with a 2" suspention lift,think they work out to be 32"

Any rubbing or catching or limiting of suspension travel with those or is everything ok?

So far so good,not been off roading yet,hopefully get out on some lanes over the holidays too test them out

I also have the 265 75 16 bfg mt 2, slight rub on a bump at a certain angle but i cut out a bit of the inside of the bumper and it is a little better.

Been laning and had a full day on the plain. No issues and love them.

Just ordered a set of 31x10.50x15. I think they should be more than enough and shouldn't cause a problem when out and about.
