  • Rubbers between Wheel arches and bodywork?

    Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if the rubber pieces between the plastic wheel arches and the body work of a Gen 3 surf are part of the wheel arch or can they be bought separately? I have had an accident with one of mine as I was over zealous with trying to buff paintwork!! Can they be obtained??

They are separate parts, and the part numbers vary, depending on the colour you want.

That part is for a Tacoma.

The actual parts for a 3rd gen are handed from memory, and are separate pre fitted part numbers for all 8 parts (front bumper parts x2, front arches x2 rear arches x4) There are also different part numbers depending on colour. They definitely come in grey for the silver over arches, and black.. (I think burgundy too??)

I did have the part numbers written down for them all in black, but can't find them.. I need to look them up soon as I want new for my full respray.

Edit: I was wrong... its black or Grey...

53851C PAD, FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION, NO.1 (Bumper bit)
      53851-35010 BLACK 2 € 4.17
      53851-35030 GRAY 2 € 4.17

53853 PAD, FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION, NO.3 (Front Arch bit)
      53853-35020 BLACK 2 € 12.99
      53853-35030 GRAY

75659A PAD, QUARTER PANEL MOULDING, NO.1 (Rear arch to Rear wing)
      75659-35010 BLACK 2 € 6.72
      75659-35020 GRAY

75767A PAD, REAR DOOR MOULDING, NO.1 (Rear Arch to Rear door)
      75767-35010 BLACK 2 € 5.19
      75767-35020 GRAY

Prices are a rough guide, and they don't seem to be handed.
These are actually for a US 3rd Gen 4 runner, the parts descriptions for the surf are in Japanese...

        Thanks

This is such a goldmine of knowledge. Thanks to karma supra and Bushwacker for that info. Very useful. Thanks again. Would I have to order them through a main dealer or would they be available from an accessory dealer?

Sometimes I put Toyota part numbers into Ebay and get lucky...

Great for bits of clips and trim covers that tend to break on removal.

Mainly though, especially for stuff like this, I main dealer it.
