A chap with a decent hammer will knock them out and get the new ones seated.
The studs that come with wheel spacers aren't as good as the OEM ones, I only torque them up to 105Nm, rather than 113.
If a stud has been overtightened at any point in its life it will have stretched, once stretched it's weakened, once weakened it's just a matter of time before it fails.Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

They denied gunning them up but all I could hear was the gun reving its head off for the whole time I was there waiting.
I also had a battle on my hands just getting them to agree to replace the stud FOC (booked back in 9am in the morning).....although I doubt anyone there really knows what they're doing - they said the caliper+disc & maybe the entire hub needs to be removed so I'm now cr@pping myself over that.Last edited by Tig; 1 August 2013, 18:42.
