Where is the Gearbox Speedo Sensor?

Having read previous posts, and having a non working speedo and a flashing O/D light I conclude I have a faulty gearbox sensor.
So the question from a non-techno is where is it? How hard is it to change? and finally where is the best place to buy one?
In my 7th year of running this 3 litre grey import, I can honestly say its been the most reliable vehicle I've owned in 50 years of car ownership. Until the speedo just went on the blink!

bit surprised you cant find another thread on here regarding this issue
if you want images type in speed sensor in the search bit. however if you just need to no where it is its driver side on the transfer box not hard to get at or remove, flea bay has got them from time to time and people on here sell them sometimes, check the for sale thread. hope that answers your questions
